I enjoy working with all hair types and lengths, but short cuts and bobs are my specialty. No matter what the texture and cut, my goal for the client is to make it easy to do at home.

Adding highlights to your cut will show off textures and layers.  Which I believe enhances hair in the best way. My two favorite products I can’t live without are, Grande Lash (it really works!) and Oribe’s Dry Texture Spray.

I graduated from the Aveda Institute in 2000, then continued with advanced training in the salon business. I spent my first 9 years at one of the top Aveda salons in the Twin Cities. There, I had so many opportunities to learn from some of the best stylists in the world, Wachs and Wachs, Ginger Boyle and Kurt Kueffner, to name a few. After building my clientele, I received my managers license and worked independently at Salon Ori in St. Paul for 5 years before coming to Urban Village. Working independently has given me the opportunity to work for a few local photographers. Whether doing beautiful curls, polished blow outs or messy loose up-dos, photography is a great way to see hair in a whole new light!

When I’m not behind the chair, I enjoy working out and spending time with my husband and three kids.  We enjoy being outdoors, playing badminton, swimming and playing 20 questions by the fire.

I’ve been so lucky to have great clients and great people to work with. Everyone of them inspire me in different ways and make it fun to come to “work”!
